Spring Session 2021

February 14 – April 11

Due to the Virginia Governor’s recent COVID safety mandate, spring session will be limited to smaller ensembles. We encourage you to register today. We are anticipating that spots will fill up quickly.

The spring program will include weekly “live” rehearsals and a final performance held in a sanitized environment with social distancing and masks being worn by all musicans and instructors at all times.

Playing in such small ensembles allows our young musicians to bring their art and preparation to a new level, further developing the expertise and confidence. In addition and if permitted, performing with the HRCP Sinfonietta will allow our students the opportunity to perform as soloists.

All participants must have at least 3 years of experience in order to participate. Students are placed in groups based on their individual skill level, as determined in an informal preliminary audition. Each applicant should schedule an audition. Dates and times are available upon request.

PRICE: $300

SESSION DATES: February 14 – April 11

TIME:  3:00-5:15 pm

Kroc Center
1401 Ballentine Blvd.
Norfolk, VA 23504

All COVID safety precautions will be put in place for all participating groups and instructors. Only HRCP staff and students will be allowed to enter the church. We will require all students to wear masks and parents will be required to perform health checks before dropping off their musicians.
